The Visit
On the morning of February 6th, 2025, a British detective unexpectedly arrived at HTL Pinkafeld, interrupting a house party to investigate a mysterious case. Wait—what? A British detective investigating in the middle of Burgenland, Austria?
As it turns out, this was all part of the thrilling performance The Visit by Philip Dart, inspired by J.B. Priestley’s An Inspector Calls.
Detective Teena Whitsom questions three students about a young woman found unconscious on campus. At first, they deny any connection to the victim, but soon they will reveal their dark secrets. Later, the students suspect that Whitsom might not have been a real police officer. The gripping story explores guilt, moral values, and responsibility.
Around 290 students from grades 3 to 5 were captivated by the native-speaking actors’ outstanding performance. It was an unforgettable event that left everyone eager for more theatre!
The Makeover
